Flag

The flag of Spain features three horizontal stripes: red at the top and bottom, and a wider yellow stripe in the center. On the yellow stripe, near the left side, is Spain’s national coat of arms. The red and yellow colors are traditional in Spanish heraldry and symbolize strength and generosity.

Coat of Arms

The coat of arms features a shield representing the historic kingdoms of Spain: Castile, León, Aragon, Navarre, and Granada. It is supported by the Pillars of Hercules, symbolizing Spain’s global reach, with the motto “PLUS ULTRA” meaning “More Beyond,” reflecting Spain’s history of exploration and influence.
