Flag

The flag features red, green, and black with a yellow Y-shape. Red symbolizes the people’s blood, green represents agriculture, black stands for the ni-Vanuatu people, and the yellow Y symbolizes the gospel’s light. A golden boar’s tusk and crossed namele leaves represent wealth and peace.

Coat of Arms

The coat of arms shows a Melanesian warrior with a spear in front of a shield featuring a boar’s tusk and namele leaves, symbolizing tradition and peace. Below is the motto, “Long God yumi stanap,” meaning “In God we stand.”

Vanuatu – is a country you have probably never heard of in your life. Stunning scenery, pristine oceans, WWII wreckage, a rich history and culture, friendly island people, an active volcano, delicious seafood, award-winning chocolate, the world’s first underwater post office, and Kava are just a few of the attractions.

Vanuatu is proud of its deep-rooted culture, which it is ready to share with everyone who will listen. You may go on tours to villages and tribes and experience their way of living on the island of Malekula or visit numerous cultural villages on other islands to get a sense of what island life was like in Vanuatu in the past. Vanuatu has some of the world’s greatest diving points from shipwrecks to ancient WWII sites.

Vanuatu, formerly known as the world’s happiest country, now ranks fourth on the World Happiness Index. It’s easy to see why when you live in one of the most beautiful and friendly countries on the planet.
